E-Bike and sailing

Join us on a guided e-bike tour, followed by a sailing adventure on Lake Sorpe (Sorpesee) – suitable for groups that consist of 4 to people.

This is what you can expect

Departure from Hotel Nieder at 09,00h/9 am, individual adjustment of the e-bikes to the participants and riding technique instructions 8:30h – 09:00h/8.30 – 9 am.

We will ride directly from Hotel Nieder to the nearby Arnsberg Forest Nature Park. The route will lead us on paved bike trails through the forest towards Föckinghausen. After this exciting warm-up, we will continue direction Eversberg (here we will be offered fantastic views of the upper Ruhr Valley, the Arnsberg Forest nature park and the southern mountains of the Lake Henne region). Along a popular section of the Ruhr Valley Cycle Path we will pass Wehrstapel, Heinrichtshal and Wennemen. Shortly before Freienohl we will leave the Ruhr Valley Cycle Path towards Olpe and enter nature park Homert. After a while we will reach nature reserve Hellefelder Höhe, where our route leads through a vast wooded area, towards Sundern. We will then leave the forest paths and cross the Sorpedamm; facing south Lake Sorpe is quite beautiful. After a few minutes along the west side of the lake we will reach Sailpoint Sorpesee at the Nordic holiday park, the destination of our e-bike tour.

After a long break, we will meet the boat crew members. We will then get a short introduction before we leave and indulge in the joys of sailing on Lake Sorpe. If you feel like it, you can lend a hand and be active. If you prefer otherwise,  you can lean back, relax and let yourself be sailed around. A relaxed sailing trip would not be complete without a proper Sauerland drink, once we have set foot ashore. Then it is time to say goodbye. The shuttle service will take you back to the hotel, where the eventful day comes to an end.
